TCS is the best place to work in India, followed by Amazon

According to LinkedIn, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) was named the greatest workplace in India this year, followed by Amazon and Morgan Stanley. The professional social networking platform published a list of India’s top 25 workplaces.

Notably, the list is founded on “eight pillars that have been demonstrated to lead to career progression, such as the ability to advance.” Ability to advance; skill growth; firm stability; external opportunity; corporate affinity; gender diversity; educational background; and staff presence in the country are among the factors.

The list includes 17 new entrants out of 25 brand names. For the first time, e-sports and gaming firms like Dream11 and Games24x7 entered the list. Zepto, which was featured on LinkedIn’s Top Startups list for the year, has risen to the 16th position on this list.

The survey also states that the talents that employers in the technology industry are seeking for in applicants include Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics, Electronics, Software Testing, and Computer Security. Companies in the financial industry are searching for workers with abilities in Commercial Banking, Financial Accounting, and Growth Strategies.

Finally, recruiters in the gaming and EduTech industries are searching for talents such as Partner Development and Inside Sales. According to LinkedIn, “there is also a growing demand for Industrial Design, Game Development.”

Engineering, consulting, product management, business development, sales, customer success, design, finance, and operations are among the top 25 job functions that these top 25 organizations are heavily investing in.

In terms of geography, Bengaluru has emerged as the top destination for these organizations wanting to employ talent. It is followed by Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi, and Pune.

Nirajita Banerjee, LinkedIn Career Expert and India Managing Editor, has provided some advice to job seekers. These include investigating the organization, having honesty and authenticity, demonstrating intent, being interested, developing in-demand talents, and perseverance.
