REC Limited staged the “Bijli Utsav” in Odha village, Nashik district, Maharashtra. Officials from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Limited (MSEDCL) and REC’s Mumbai office attended the ceremony.
The event offered instructive speaker sessions by utility officials who discussed issues such as energy consumer rights, the benefits of having access to electricity, and the challenges experienced throughout the process of electrifying rural locations.
It was noted how having access to power enhances people’s quality of life tremendously.
