RVNL, a prominent railway infrastructure development organisation and a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, has announced an intriguing new project focused at developing extraordinary leadership qualities among its ranks.
Shri Pradeep Kumar Gaur, Chairman and Managing Director of NIRMAN, started the programme at its headquarters in August Kranti Bhawan. He revealed the program’s logo and welcomed all participants to the three-month adventure, which would be curated and executed by the RVNL HR Team and the SHRM India Team.
The launch of NIRMAN is a significant milestone for RVNL because it is the first such effort in the sector and aspires to educate and equip its workers with the necessary tools to lead effectively in the fast-paced and ever-changing industry landscape.
Shri Gaur, Chairman and CEO of RVNL, addressed during the event on the value of employees in the RVNL world. ” RVNL understands the importance of cultivating strong relationships and collaborations with its stakeholders, including its most valuable asset – its employees.” He also discussed the different activities that RVNL is undertaking on its path to becoming a major partner in the development of infrastructure in India.

Mrs. Anupam Ban, RVNL’s Director of Human Resources, also spoke at the ceremony. Mrs. Ban discussed the relevance of learning in today’s world, as well as the necessity for customisation of a learning path, which is necessary for such projects. She told the attendees that a lot of work had gone into customising the content and flow of the NIRMAN trip for RVNL so that the leaders could discover appropriate development inputs for their ecosystem.
Director (Projects), Shri Vinay Singh, Director (Operations), Shri Rajesh Prasad, Director (Finance), Shri Sanjeeb Kumar, and many other top personnel of the organisation attended the launch ceremony.
These thought-provoking workshops will provide participants with essential insights into the intricacies of leadership, strategic planning, change management, and innovation, enabling them with the information and perspectives required to navigate complicated organisational contexts.
Mr. Nishant Parashar, Business Manager PSE at SHRM India, was also on the SHRM India team. He assured the participants of the support they would receive along the journey and the manner in which SHRM India had delivered similar journeys at other PSE organisations.
