On Saturday, NTPC Kanti held its first Raising Day on its campus. In the presence of Sh. Anand Banerjee, GM (O&M), Sh Manoj Sinha, GM (TS), heads of various departments, and employees, Shri KM K Prusty, Head of Project, NTPC Kanti hoisted the NTPC flag on the station premises. In his address to the gathering, the Project Head stated that the foundation stone of NTPC Kanti has opened the doors of development in the entire Kanti. The Head of Project emphasized the station’s various accomplishments and how NTPC Kanti has not only excelled in many areas of operation and maintenance, but has also created a positive image in the entire power map of the state and the nation. He emphasized that the power station’s commitment to our society, the environment, and the surrounding stakeholders is followed at all levels, and that NTPC Kanti is a professionally driven and value-driven organization to all. He also highlighted the initiatives undertaken in NTPC Kanti on O&M, Environment, and Ash utilization, and thanked all unions and departments for their ongoing support and feedback.

Later, in the presence of senior station officials, the Head of Project organized a plantation drive. A mini-marathon called “Blue Sky Run” was also organized in the residential complex to spread the message of environmental protection. People of all ages participated and spread the message of environmental protection.
