The NTPC GEM project will empower girls from all throughout the country by teaching them about basic education, health, and self-defense. With this programme, NTPC hopes to assist these girls in breaking the glass ceiling and dispelling myths regarding female foeticide in rural areas.

The females named above are being shortlisted in collaboration with the Kokrajhar Department of Education, with assistance from the District Administration, the Health Department, and the BTC Administration. Over the next four weeks, the girls will receive training in a variety of disciplines, life skills, and extracurricular activities such as outdoor games, puppetry, yoga, and so on.

The CSR programme will ensure that the girl kid grows into a well-rounded adult with plenty of interest and good communication and social skills.

Since its beginning, the company has focused on pioneering Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practises that have had a long-term, sustainable influence on people’s lives. NTPC will continue to lead such programmes, touching the lives of the marginalised and ensuring that they live their lives with dignity.
