Microsoft rolls out famous OpenAI to one of its popular services

Microsoft unveils OpenAI as its popular services

Through a programme named the Azure OpenAI Service, Microsoft has announced that it is extending access to OpenAI’s software, which is now in a preview stage for its cloud computing clients. The programme will become generally accessible after the expansion, which is anticipated to enhance utilization.

As part of Microsoft’s “commitment to democratizing AI, and continuous engagement with OpenAI,” the Azure OpenAI Service will go generally available. By making the Azure OpenAI Service publicly accessible, Microsoft is enabling more enterprises to adopt cutting-edge AI models like GPT-3.5, Codex, and DALL-E 2. The Microsoft Azure platform, which is designed with business needs in mind, will support these AI models.

Additionally, businesses will soon be able to use a version of GPT-3.5 called ChatGPT, which has also been trained to run on Microsoft’s Azure AI infrastructure. The ChatGPT AI went viral as it provided answers and solutions to complex questions in a way never seen before.

OpenAI

Microsoft has also thought about raising its 2019-announced $1 billion investment in OpenAI. After its November release, OpenAI’s ChatGPT, a text-based chatbot that can produce prose, poetry, and computer code, attracted a lot of attention from the general public.

According to Microsoft, customer applications will be reviewed to make sure they aren’t being used maliciously. To check for any potentially hazardous information, filters will be used.

For using the models on the Azure OpenAI Service, both Microsoft and OpenAI have established their own rules and guidelines. Developers that are interested in using the service must apply and provide an explanation of how they plan to use the models; the filters will then identify any offensive or harmful content.
