Google reveals its first foldable phone Pixel Fold in a video
Google has finally introduced the Pixel Fold, its first foldable phone. The gadget was anticipated to be unveiled on May 10 at the Google I/O event. Google has yet to release the specifications and pricing of the new Pixel Fold, but we can see an official depiction of the smartphone in a brief video. Google released the video teaser on May 4, with the tagline ‘May the Fold be with you’. The device will be released on May 10, according to the Twitter handle Made by Google.
The new footage is consistent with previously released Pixel Fold photos. According to the leaked specifications, Google is planning to construct a strong hinge for the tablet. The secondary screen is estimated to be 5.80-inch in size when folded, while the primary, larger screen might be 7.60-inch. However, the bezels around the primary display appear to be quite thick.

In terms of design, the phone’s exterior has the iconic camera visor. It is instantly identifiable as a Pixel phone. However, the elevation appears to be less than that of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. According to the latest video, Google will employ a triple camera configuration on the Pixel Fold, with the third lens being a telephoto lens.
The price is yet unknown, but we should anticipate Google to charge a premium for its first foldable phone. According to CNBC, the pricing would be in the same ballpark as the Galaxy Z Fold4, which starts at Rs 1.55 lakh.
Google also stated earlier this week that it will debut a new Pixel gadget in India, most likely the Pixel 7a. The business released a teaser for the device’s Flipkart debut on May 11.
