BPCL to convert 200 National Highways in India

BPCL electrifies over 5,000 kilometers of highway in Kerala, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu to promote the growth of electric vehicles, connecting important religious and tourist destinations to cities, with 30 KW fast charging stations installed at 110 fuel stations, resulting in the creation of 19 EV Fast Charging Corridors on 15 major highways.

BPCL intends to convert 200 National Highways in India into electric corridors by March 31, 2023.

Ravi, Executive Director Incharge (Retail), addressed the media following the launch in the presence of Shri Ajith Kumar K, Executive Director Incharge, Kochi Refinery, Shri Pushp Kumar Nayar, Head Retail South, Subhankar Sen, Chief General Manager (Retail Initiative & Brand), and other officials, channel partners, and OEM partners in Ernakulam, Kerala.
