AI-enabled chatbot Just Ask to educate youths on social and sexual health issues in Madhya Pradesh

Chatbot Just Ask – The Government of Madhya Pradesh has partnered with the international non-profit United Nations Population Fund India (UNFPA) to develop an Artificial Intelligence (AI) to share accurate information on social issues and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). I have developed a chatbot based. . among teenagers and young people. This chatbot was called “Just Ask” or “Khulke Poochho”.  

The Multilingual Digital Engagement Platform was launched in Bhopal on Monday by Prabhram Chowdhury State Health Minister and Andrea M. Wojiner, India Representative to the United Nations Population Fund.  

Anyone seeking relevant information can use ‘Just Ask’ to find out about growth, body changes, menstruation, reproductive health, pregnancy and family planning, gender identity, sexual orientation, and other sexual and reproductive topics. You can ask questions on topics related to health and rights. Information is provided interactively.  

Chatbot Just Ask

Free chatbots converse with users and provide instant, reliable information. The AI-based models Dhruv and Drishti interact with users and exchange necessary information in a simple and understandable way. The platform is designed to be secure, personalized and confidential. 

Madhya Pradesh Government Public Health Minister Prabhram Choudhury said at the launch about chatbots: “The #JustAsk chatbot is a step in the right direction for youth health. One phone call to ask many important questions and provide solutions.”
