Aditya Birla Health Insurance targets 10 mn jumps in its #JumpForHealth Campaign 2023

Aditya Birla Health Insurance Co. Ltd. (ABHICL), the health insurance joint venture of Aditya Birla Capital Ltd. (ABCL), the holding company for Aditya Birla Group’s financial services business, has announced the launch of its annual campaign #JumpForHealth.

The sixth edition of #JumpForHealth will begin on World Health Day, April 7, 2023, with a goal of obtaining 10 million jumps and donating roughly 1000 prosthetic legs to people with disabilities.

This year’s campaign is built on the subject of finding your reason to jump and helping someone in need. The program urges individuals to work toward a healthier lifestyle while also contributing to society by assisting differently abled people to walk again.

ABHICL donates one prosthetic limb for every 10,000 jumps recorded by participants through this initiative. Since its beginning in 2017, the #JumpForHealth campaign has recorded over 32 million jumps and donated over 3262 prosthetic legs to individuals, making a beneficial impact on their families as well.

With 5455 videos, #JumpForHealth was given the Guinness World Record title for the ‘Largest online video album of people jumping in the air’ in 2022.

Mr. Mayank Bathwal, CEO of Aditya Birla Health Insurance, commented on the program, saying, “At Aditya Birla Health Insurance, we have always encouraged people to lead a healthy life and instil the habit of healthy living through our HealthFirst philosophy.” The #JumpForHealth campaign is an extension of this principle, designed to inspire people to be active and jump for a greater cause – health for themselves while also helping those in need.”

“Over the years, this campaign has lived up to its goal of raising awareness about the benefits of healthy living.” The millions of jumps we’ve received in the last five editions are proof of this. We’ve witnessed a lot of enthusiasm and participation from our partners, agents, customers, workers, and participants over the years, and they look forward to this campaign every year. We are dedicated to our purpose of promoting health and wellbeing, and we are pleased with the beneficial influence that this campaign has had on society.”
